Job Description

**RELOCATION TO WISCONSIN IS REQUIRED**

Our client specializes in crafting and construction award-winning themed environments for theme parks, resorts, zoos, casinos, museums, and other destination experiences. Experience within this industry is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Develop Teams: Mentor and train project managers, estimators, and preconstruction staff, fostering growth, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Align Operations: Coordinate internal priorities, assign responsibilities based on project needs and team strengths, and oversee planning, bidding, budgeting, and execution.
  • Strengthen Relationships: Build trusted partnerships with clients and collaborate across design, sales, fabrication, and field operations.
  • Drive Project Excellence: Ensure quality, safety, and profitability across all phases of construction; manage schedules, deviations, and subcontractor relationships.
  • Oversee Financials & Progress: Monitor estimating and construction performance with a focus on cost control, schedule adherence, and quality assurance.
  • Lead Bid & Contract Management: Oversee accurate, competitive, and professional bids, proposals, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Manage Risk & Performance: Review financial projections, change orders, requisitions, and risk reports to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Inspire Growth: Establish KPIs, provide coaching and feedback, and promote continuous improvement across teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in preconstruction, estimating, and project management
  • 5+ years of direct leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and performance metrics
  • Expertise in estimating, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, contract negotiation, and risk management
  • PMP certification strongly preferred (or ability to obtain after hire)
  • OSHA-10 certification required; LEED accreditation, field experience, and design-build background preferred
  • Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, and ERP systems
  • A positive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and challenges
  • Strong client relationship skills and a collaborative, professional leadership style
  • Excellent communication abilities—clear, concise, and engaging across written, verbal, and presentation formats
  • Strategic, analytical, and adaptable, with a drive for process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Proven ability to mentor teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results with integrity and respect
