We are seeking an experienced and versatile Graphic/Product Designer to support the design and development of our mass-market Beauty division. This role combines fashion-forward design with consumer product branding, touching everything from product concepts, cads, packaging and tech packs.
The ideal candidate must possess strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with experience designing projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market trends.
This role demands an innovative and creative designer that is a positive team player with excellent communication skills. Must be extremely detail oriented, organized and able to successfully juggle multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities :
Product + Packaging Design :
• Create trend-driven designs, CADs, and tech packs for various beauty products and packaging.
• Review and comment on production samples and maintain the showroom samples
• Maintain linesheets and sell sheets for multiple product lines
• Participate in competitive market research to identify trends and future opportunities
Software Proficiency :
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality designs and product renderings adhering to brand guidelines.
Project Management :
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Qualifications :
Education :
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Experience :
• Experience in consumer products, fashion accessories or packaging design with a portfolio demonstrating creativity with attention to detail and brand consistency.
Technical Skills :
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with 3D modeling software is a plus.
Industry Knowledge :
• Knowledge of design-to-production process and trend research. Familiarity with materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices related to packaging and accessory design.
Communication Skills :
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts effectively.
Problem-Solving :
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Preferred Qualifications :
• Experience working with major retailers and understanding their packaging requirements.
• Knowledge of printing techniques and production processes for packaging materials.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices in packaging design.
