OPS Web Specialist College of Law, Florida State University

Location

Tallahassee, FL (in?office, part?time, 20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and optimize website content and functionality across the College of Law website.
• Regularly update and manage content to ensure accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and compliance with FSU brand and web standards.
• Create, edit, and publish pages using the Drupal content management system; configure and maintain content types, views, and blocks.
• Review and test pages for broken links, formatting, and accessibility issues; resolve bugs and performance problems.
• Monitor web traffic and engagement with Google Analytics and other reporting tools to identify opportunities for enhancing user experience and improving content performance.
• Assist with the preparation and optimization of images, videos, and other media for web use while maintaining site performance and load times.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or high?school diploma/equivalent plus four years of experience (or an equivalent combination of post?high?school education and experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with website content management systems (preferably Drupal or Pantheon).
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web design principles.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and proofreading skills.
• Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Siteimprove.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA compliance).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Understanding of digital media formats and best practices for web optimization.
