Part-Time Data Entry Specialist (Accounting Department) - Chicago, IL (West Loop)
$24-$28/hr (Flexible schedule and hours)

Responsibilities:
- Assist with matching invoices to purchase orders and receiving records
- Confirm vendor details and help identify and correct basic invoice discrepancies
- Accurately input vendor invoices, credits, and payment details into the accounting system
- Check invoices for required approvals, correct coding, and adherence to company procedures
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper files related to invoices, payments, and vendor accounts
- Provide data entry support during weekly and monthly accounts payable processing
- Respond to routine invoice and payment status inquiries from internal teams and vendors
- Update vendor records and ensure account information remains accurate and current
- Prepare and supply documentation to support audits and month-end activities
- Complete general administrative and data-related tasks to assist the accounting department
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of data entry/accounting experience
- Basic knowledge of general accounting principles
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, gathering and processing information quickly and accurately
