⚡ Project Manager – Onshore Wind

📍 Location: Near Miles City, Montana (On-site)

🌬️ About the Opportunity

We’re supporting the development of a large-scale U.S. onshore wind project in Montana that is moving rapidly from late-stage development into construction, with construction targeted to begin by July 4 .

This is a high-priority, time-critical role requiring a senior, hands-on Project Manager with deep U.S. wind experience and proven IRS safe harbor execution . The successful consultant will play a critical role in ensuring schedule certainty, regulatory compliance, and construction readiness.

🔧 Role Overview

As the Project Manager – Onshore Wind , you will lead the project from late-stage development through construction execution, serving as the local, on-the-ground project lead . This role requires strong ownership, independent decision-making, and close coordination with multiple stakeholders.

🏗️ Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project development and execution through construction start
• Coordinate and oversee U.S.-based subcontractors and stakeholders, including:
• Environmental & permitting consultants
• Transmission System Operators (TSOs) / interconnection teams
• Legal and tax advisors
• Civil works & Balance-of-Plant (BOP) contractors
• Ensure compliance with U.S. regulatory, permitting, and environmental requirements
• Manage project schedules, risks, interfaces, and deliverables across disciplines
• Play a key role in IRS safe harbor structuring and execution (5% test and/or physical work test)
• Act as the client’s local site representative , driving proactive issue resolution and day-to-day execution

✅ Required Experience

• Senior Project Manager with extensive U.S. onshore wind experience
• Proven track record delivering full lifecycle wind projects (development → construction)
• Strong civil works and construction execution background
• Hands-on IRS safe harbor experience is mandatory
• Familiarity with IRS Notice 2025-42 is highly valued
• Excellent stakeholder coordination across technical, legal, and commercial teams
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership in a fast-paced environment

📍 Location & Availability

• Strong preference for candidates based in Montana or nearby regions
• Ability to be on-site near Miles City, MT, 4–5 days per week
• Must be available to start immediately
