Job Title: Shipping Clerk I ( Experience with UPS and Fedex Shipping software )

Type: Temp to Hire

Pay: $16.25/hr

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Location: Hudson

Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Clerk. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse setting, a keen eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and experience with UPS and FedEx Shipping software.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer orders utilizing carrier software
• Accurately pick products from shelves and prepare them for shipment according to order specifications.
• Inspect items for damages and ensure the accuracy of quantities and items selected.
• Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipping using appropriate packing materials.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and meet quality standards. Support audits by providing accurate and up-to-date documentation of manufacturing processes.

Required Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

P referred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a warehouse environment
• Experience with UPS and FedEx Software

Normal Working Hours and Conditions: Core business hours are generally 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. However, this position may require work to be performed outside of normal business hours based on Company operations.

Physical Requirements: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a warehouse setting including exposure to varying temperatures. Daily physical functions include standing, sitting and walking for prolonged periods of time and occasionally stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting. The employee may engage in lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling light to moderate amounts of weight up to 50 pounds. The position also requires the operation of office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement.
