Purpose
Overseeing and managing company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity, and they play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams.
- Determine key supply chain KPIs.
- Suggest solutions for process improvements and product cost savings.
- Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Train and mentor team members.
- Provide constructive feedback.
- Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors and improve cash flow for the company.
- Build and maintain good relationships with vendors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Previous procurement experience is required.
- Previous Supplier Relationship Management experience is required.
- Previous Quality Control Processes and Programs knowledge and experience is required.
- Previous Logistics experience is preferred.
- Oil and Gas Experience preferred.
