Maintenance Technician

Schedule: 7:00pm - 5:30am (Will train on 1st shift) (4 x 10's) Pay Rate: $32 - $35/hr. (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols, report hazards immediately, and promote a culture of safety using proper PPE and equipment safeguards.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to inspect, clean, and repair equipment to avoid issues.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems and components, including up to 480V 3-phase power and facility systems like HVAC and lighting.
• Repair, maintain, and replace electric motors and related components, including drives.
• Install and troubleshoot electronic equipment such as PLC programmers.
• Handle facility-wide electrical installations including wiring, conduit, lighting, and new equipment setup.
• Apply strong mechanical and electrical skills to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• Follow all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Proficient in working with up to 480V 3-phase electrical systems; higher voltage experience is a plus.
• Experience with PLCs, motor programmable drives, conduit installation, and machine moves.
• Background in a melting and molding environment is advantageous; electrical education or apprenticeship preferred.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet the job's physical and skill requirements.
