Job Details

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and institutional projects from conceptual through final bid stage.
• Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients to develop realistic budgets and schedules.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, including soliciting and analyzing bids.
• Participate in preconstruction planning, value engineering, and risk analysis.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite; on-screen takeoff experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3-10 years of estimating or preconstruction experience with a general contractor strongly preferred.
